Singer-songwriter and instructor Dani Joy is soothing and romantic, blending old time jazz with Bossa nova/exotica genres. She is most noted for her crooning alto vocals and tasteful ukulele fingerpicking & accompaniment.

Expressing her art through music, her first fan-funded album was released in 2015 entitled “Let Me Introduce Myself” and features inventive takes on classic songs, along with a couple of originals. Her latest release is and album she co-wrote and released an album with Daniel Ho, Drop in My Flower.
Dani and her husband Perry Stauffer are the new directors of the Reno Ukulele Festival and also run Starlight Ukes as an Online Ukulele Academy, which took off in 2020. She has also been an ambassador for Northern California’s “Ukes for Schools” program, in the Sacramento/Roseville districts.
